G335A Sweet Meat Peach Blow Gold enameling
- This beautiful sweet meat is made of two layers the interior lining being an opal white glass.
I am not positve who made this jar. The outer surface has a red rose colored shiny soft surface decorated with gold enamel flowers on vines that gradually lightens to the
pink color of the base. The bottom has a very nice ground pontil. The inside of
the white lining has a yellow hue to it. Circa 1890. This came from Virginia McGinnis of Maryville Missouri life time collection. Virginia was an avid collector especially of quality art glass.
