G319B Art Glass Brides Basket Cupid Stand
This is a beautiful Victorian art glass brides basket that is featured on a silverplated stand that depicts a full figured cupid type figure. Exceptional details in the metal work. The art glass basket is of the same high quality with it's crimped ruffled edge and an enameled floral design on both the interior and exterior of the basket. The outer edges of the basket are a clear color with the exterior being mainly a white milk glass texture and the interior being a darker pink round the outer rim and descending down into the bowl as a white milk glass tone. This ruffled bowl is an impressive 11 3/4" diameter and the height of the item is 12 1/2" high. Notice on the cupid base that encircleing the base there is a design of clusters of grapes. The base is signed, 'Made and Guaranteed by Rogers Bros. - Meriden B Co. - 1762 - U.S.A'. The diameter of the base is 6 1/4" diameter.
