G255C French Cameo Vase - MODA -Circa 1918 - 1925
This is a beautiful piece of signed 'Moda' cameo frosted art glass vase that is acid cut and highlighted with an enameled paint. This vase has a scene of a lake in the mountains with trees and reflections in the water and birds flying in the sky.In Blount's 'French Cameo Glass' book on page 128, photo 227, item B , there is a bowl that has the same signature, as my vase does. The signature is given a close up on page 153. #191 signature. The height is 4 1/2" high and 4 1/2" diameter at the largest part. The vase is all original, with no repairs, no cracks, and no chips. This is a beautiful piece of signed cameo art glass that would make an excellent addition to any collection. Circa 1918 - 1925 - $575.
