G252A 8 Pc. LSS Limoges Game Set Artist Signed 

- The Best Game Plate Set that we have ever seen! This is an outstanding all original and extra fine original condition L.S.S. Limoges Game set. The set consists of a large platter, six game plates, and a dipping saucer bowl. An outstanding feature on this entire set is the border. The border is done in a Pseudo-cameo "Lace Work" design with gold tracings that are all hand done! On the large platter the gold border is even carried over to the back side of the platter. This lovely set is all signed by it's artist, 'Beilou', or 'Bellou'. He does outstanding work! Notice the shading effect of the game birds in the background as well as the outstanding color combinations that he chose to use to make the game birds come to almost real life in the foreground. Simply one of the best pieces of Limoges game pieces we have ever seen! The pieces are signed, 'L.S.S. Limoges - France'. The large platter measures 18" x 12 1/2" and the edges stand 2" high. The saucer bowl is 6" diameter and the edge is 1 1/4" high. The six game plates are 9 1/4" diameter and the edge is 1" high. 
We were thrilled to acquired this entire set from the Missouri area. They informed us that this set was purchased from a home in the Topeka, Kansas area, and the people in Kansas inherited the set from an aunt in their family that had lived in the New York area when her estate was settled. This is again one of the best game sets that we have ever seen and we are just thrilled to be able to offer it to you! -  SOLD
