G250B  Wave Crest Salt & Pepper Shaker with Holder

This is a beautiful match set of salt and pepper shakers that comes complete with their handled holder. The holder is stamped on the bottom, 'Quadruple Plate - Homan Silver Plate - 95 - Special Metal'. This holder is well done with a wreath type design in the center to serve as a handle to pass the salt and pepper shakers around the table. The holder measures 5 3/4" high, the diameter of each round holding portion is approximately 2 5/8", the total width is 5". The feet on this holder makes for an attractive look. The Wavecrest salt and pepper are very well done. Notice the molded pattern that is very detailed and the enameled floral pattern. The shakers are topped with finial pierced lids that screw onto the wavecrest bases for an attractive look. This same set of shakers is featured in the Wavecrest reference book called, 'Wave Crest The Glass of C.F. Monroe - by Wilfred R. Cohen', on page 30 and then again in the back on page 232, which is a copy of the Wave Crest Ware catalog featuring opal Salts and Peppers. The shakers measure 3 5/8" high to the top of the finial. Excellent all original condition. You will not want to miss adding this fine piece to your own personal Wave Crest collection.  - SOLD
