G208A Fancy Slag Glass Antique Table Lamp 

- Fancy scrolling and detailed metal work are an eye catching feature on this antique paneled table lamp. Notice the unique dolphin or almost a serpent like creature that is done in the metal work around the outer rim of this lamp. The scrolling serpents are facing each other in each of these eight paneled caramel slag glass sections. Separating the serpents there is an oval design and above the oval there is a three pronged pitch fork like design. The finial on this lamp is that of a pineapple design. To the top of the finial the lamp stands 23" high and the shade has a diameter of approximately 18". 
The 7 3/4" diameter base of this lamp is equally highly decorated. You will notice a scrolling garland like design in the base along with a simple beaded design that stands out above the rest. The extending post of the base is decorated with garland and a draping tassel like design. The lamp is all original and the white paint I think is original to this lamp. 
I have taken a close-up of the top of this lamp, there is one of the metal slats that come down around the top edge of this lamp that is odd shaped and there is a crack in the metal. This spot does not affect the stability of this lamp at all, but I wanted you to see it for yourself.
