G206B  Worcester England Creamer & Sugar Shaker

This is a beautiful companion set with matching scene of male peacock, Worcester England made creamer and sugar shaker complete with silver holder. The holder is stamped on the bottom with the hallmarks, 'E.P.N.S.' done in fancy scrolling letters, and beside these letters inside a shield emblem there is the letters, 'J.G.S.' This holder stands 8" high to the top of the handle, and at the base is 6 3/4 by 3 1/4" wide from one round ball foot across to the opposite ball foot. A beautiful molded design with draping floral theme on the sides and grooved design around the bases decorates this set. The sugar shaker is 6 1/4" high to the top of the finial. The creamer stands 5" high to the tallest point. Both pieces are all original and in excellent condition. On the bottoms of both the creamer and sugar they are signed, 'Locke & Co. - Ltd. - Shrub Hill Works - Worcester - England - 756'. The detailed male peacocks stand proud with their heads held high, and the beautiful tail plumage draping down. Notice that the birds have been painted onto the creamer and sugar in such a way that when displaying the set the peacocks heads are looking at each other. Again, excellent all original condition. This set is definitely guaranteed to be a highlight in any fine Worcester collection. - SOLD
