G203B Enameled Cranberry Pickle Castor
Beautiful cranberry insert pickle castor done in a spot optic pattern that features a floral enameled design that is quick to catch your eyes. I have also heard of this spot optic pattern being called the inverted thumbprint design. As equally beautiful as the cranberry insert is, the silver plated holder. It is very attractive and eye catching. The holder is signed, on the bottom and reads, 'Meriden B. Company - #162'. Notice the raised scrolling design that decorates the base of this pickle castor holder, and the four raised feet that give this holder an impressive look. The holder stands 12 1/4" high, at the widest point this holder is 5 1/2" wide. The cranberry insert it's self is 7" high to the top of the finial on the silver plated lid. This pickle castor is in excellent all original condition, complete with pickle tongs, and this beautiful set would make an excellent addition to any fine art glass pickle castor collection. - $1375.
