G178B Small Enameled Cranberry Glass Pill Box
Delicately decorated enameled design a tops this little cranberry glass pill box or ring jewelry box. This 2" diameter and 1 1/4" high cranberry box is hinged and has a brass latch to allow for storage of medicine or rings on the inside. This little art glass piece that is most likely attributed to Moser is all original, however on the backside of the pill box where the brass hinge attaches the two cranberry glass halves together on the top half it does appear that the glass has been polished or ground down slightly to smooth out what most likely was a knick in the glass. The glass is smooth to the touch, however the geometric shape of the circle is altered slightly and thus the reason why I believe that at some time this art glass pill box has been smoothed. The enameled pattern has not been affected and this piece is still all complete and very beautiful. These small pieces of art glass are hard to come by, and we are thrilled to be able to offer this fine piece of cranberry art glass for sale. - SOLD
