G172C Victorian Silver Plated Insert Pickle Castor
This is a unique and unusual Victorian pickle castor notice that even the insert is silver plated. Marked on the bottom of the insert is the following information. 'F. B. Rogers Silver Co. - Taunton, Mass. - Quadruple - 171'. Engraved in the insert is a floral design with a nature lake scene in the very center. The silverplated holder has a grape and vine band that encircles the base. This holder measures 9 1/2" high, the widest point across the base is 3 3/4". The insert has a diameter of 3" diameter. - SOLD
