G155B  Double Burmese Fairy Lamp

Exquisite double acid Burmese pyramid size domes cased in clear Clarkes lamp cups decorate this double fairy lamp. The Burmese domes were Made by Thomas Webb & Sons of Stourbridge, England ca. 1880s, and are held in 'Clarkes Patent Trade Mark Cricklite' clear cups and these cups are secured in cup rings that are attached to an ormolu frame secured to a classic weighted silverplated Corinthian column. The cup rings are marked with impressed signatures on the inside that read, 'Clarke's Trade - Cricklite Mark', and the base of the lamp has this same impressed signature.
This lamp stands an impressive 18 1/2" high and the width of the double shades is 14 1/2" wide. The base of the lamp is 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". Nice details and what an impressive statement this Corinthian column makes. Excellent all original condition on this impressive Fairy lamp. Again exceptional all original condition. This Corinthian base is featured on page 204 in the reference book, 'Fairy Lamps' by Bob and Pat Ruf.
