G137B  Pairpoint Signed Biscuit Jar

Exquisite example of a signed Pairpoint biscuit jar with a multi-hued floral design. On the bottom of the jar it is signed with the diamond shape and the initials of 'P.M.C.' inside the diamond. Above this emblem is the numbers '3913' over '56'. The silverplated lid for this biscuit jar is also stamped with the following information, 'M.W. 4418'. Notice the details in the scrolling metal work of the silver band around the top edge of this biscuit jar, the handle, and the lid. Excellent craftsmanship. Measures 6 1/4" high to the top of the finial on the lid. The biscuit jar it's self stands 4 3/4" high, and has a diameter of 7". This piece is definitely a keeper for any fine Pairpoint or biscuit jar collector. All original condition, with one worn spot on the lid, is the only imperfection to note. This item came from an estate auction for a gentleman by the name of Dr. Fray in the Missouri area.  - $925.
