G133B  Mt. Washington Art Glass Large Basket

Lovely and unusual three colored Mount Washington attributed art glass basket with satin Mother of Pearl finish. Lovely crimped top edge on this basket reveals the soft pink interior color that blends well with the equally soft yet bold yellow exterior color that has been done in a diamond optic pattern. Notice the base of the basket is very attractive with ten evenly spaced lobes around the base. To top the basket off it is highlighted with a satin twisted rope design applied handle. The basket has such character and uniqueness as you study the crimped edge. All original and in good original condition. This basket came from an estate auction in Moberly, Missouri for a Dr. Fray. This basket stands 11" high to the top of the handle. At the widest point it is 9 1/2" by 9 1/2". A great piece of fine art glass. - $875.
