G102C Cranberry Pickle Castor Pairpoint Holder
Beautiful all original pickle castor. The cranberry pickle castor insert with a scrolling enameled design done in three different colors is quick to catch your eyes. White, blue, and gold colors are featured in the design. The cranberry insert is capped with a silver plated lid which is engraved with a personal message that reads, 'M and S to Mother'. This wordage would appear to be a personal monogrammed statement. Excellent original condition. The holder is marked by it's maker, 'Pairpoint Mfg. Co. New Bedford, Mass - #699.' and it measures 10 1/4" high while the diameter of the base is approximately 4 1/4" diameter at the widest point. This pickle castor set is all complete with insert, holder, lid and pickle tongs. This is a beautiful all original set that is ready to be enjoyed in any fine Victorian pickle castor collection or if you collect cranberry art glass then this piece would be a must for your collection as well. - SOLD
