G098B La Belle Flow Blue Pitcher 7"
This is a beautiful vintage flow blue china pitcher that is stamped on the bottom in green with the emblem design for "La Belle China" circa late 1800's - early 1900's. This pitcher is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and stands 7" tall X 9 1/2" wide from the spout to handle end. The beautiful dark "blue" is vivid and flowing and the LaBelle pattern is a favorite among flow blue china collectors. This same pitcher is featured on page 155, Plate 431, in 'The Collector's Encyclopedia of Flow Blue China', by Mary Frank Gaston. The signature is No. 168 - shown on page 38, and referred to as, 'Wheeling Pottery Co. - Wheeling, West Virginia, after 1893.' Again exceptional flowing blue with gold highlights makes this a beautiful piece. -SOLD
