F886A Early Victorian Oak Ice Box

This is an early and very rare ice box with backboard. This early ice box has information stamped on the back, 'Gem' and then there is information stating, 'Joseph W. Wane of Cincinnati, Ohio - Cincinnati Industrial Exhibition' on a name plate. This ice box is a top loader with a compartment for storing water that would then come out cold. This ice box measures 54" high, 18" deep, and is 27" wide. Originally had a water spout. This is a very rare and early ice box. Circa 1880's . - SOLD
