FC867A Quarter Sawn Oak Partners Desk
This is a heavy beveled raised paneled quarter sawn oak partners desk still in it's original finish. Each partners side has eight drawers for storage plus a wide center pencil drawer. Notice that in one of the center drawers there is still the original paper work that tells how the Locking Mechanism works on the desk. The desk is in original finish and the top has normal wear and patina markings. I would not refinish this desk however I still feel that the finish is fine as is. You might want to wax the top well to preserve the finish that the desk still has. This desk has beautiful quarter sawn oak and the raised beveled panel sides that are an excellent bonus on this piece. The desk's top measures 54" wide, 48" deep, and the desk stands 30" high. The openings where people would sit is 22" wide. All four writing boards are also still complete with this partners desk. Circa 1900's. - SOLD
