F731B Horner Style Pair of Oak Bookcases
True Horner style carvings stand out when one looks at this very hard to find matching pair of oak three door wide bookcases. Notice that the center section has a curved front glass. There is four adjustable shelves inside each section. The bookcases each measure 79" wide, 68 1/2" high, and on the ends are 15" deep, with the center sections being 17" deep. Notice the carved full dimensional figures that support the canopies on the bookcases. Each bookcase has four carved busts. Two of the figures are supporting weapons, one an axe, and another a sword, while the other two are without weapons and instead one has a musical stringed instrument and the other is holding a small bag with his arm draped in a cloak or perhaps in an arm sling. Detailed carvings throughout the entire bookcase make for a very even design and again the true Horner appeal. - SOLD
