F586B  Oak Mission Arts & Crafts Folding Screen

This is an oak mission or arts and crafts style three panel dressing screen. The top portions of each of the three sections is decorated with a leather decorated insert. The middle section is the most highly decorated with a shield emblem design and then on either side there is the same design of a border tooling design that encircles the leather inserts. Excellent mission style, and what an outstanding addition to ones home this piece would make. Note the hinges on this self standing screen and the way in which they have been constructed allows one to fold this screen in either way, giving you total versatility as to how you display and use this screen. This screen is in good condition with beautiful quarter sawn oak wood. The screen stands 68" high and each of the panels is 19 1/2" wide. The wood measures 3/4" thick. If you decorate your home or office in a mission or arts and crafts theme them this three panel screen could be the finishing touch that you have been looking for. With the shield emblem this screen does have a masculine look to it and it would fit nicely even in an office setting. Circa 1910's. - Price $ 1495.
