F578B Oak Wardrobe Chifferobe
Quarter sawn Oak Chifferobe stylish oak chifferobe with mirror door on the right side, small double doors on the left top and 6 serpentine drawers on the left bottom.
There is applied carving above and below the mirror and on both small doors. The 6 drawers have a very wild serpentine design and sit above a wide drawer and claw feet.
This chest is in the original finish with fancy brass handles. This is considered
one of the best chifferobe made! Measures 85" High 50" Wide 21" Deep. Circa 1900.
There is a furniture company label on the back. Made by Karges Furniture Co. manufactured of Plain & Quarter Oak Suites & Wardrobes Evansville, Indiana. Shipped to A.T. Schwack of Portageville, Missouri.
