F330C Victorian Hunzinger Walnut Rocker
This unusual Victorian rocker was made by George Hunzinger of New York. He was a prominent cabinetmaker famous for his uniquely constructed chairs. The rocker has his impressed label and is patented 1869. The crest has a pierced carved design of leaves. The style is classic Renaissance Revival Victorian. The carvings and turnings are bold. Notice the cameo back and rounded seat. The construction style below the front of the seat is a Hunzinger trademark that reads Hunzinger N.Y. March 30, 1879. Measures 33 1/2" height, 21" Wide and seat is 17 1/2" Diameter.
