F151C Quarter Oak Desk Top Book Shelf

This is a quarter sawn oak small cabinet that would have been placed on the top of a larger roll top desk to store books inside of it. Notice the detailed egg and dart border that encircles this cabinet. This bookcase would support books vertically. The cabinet it's self measures just 12 1/2" wide 15 1/2" high and 10" deep. The inside measurements where one would store the books is 10 1/2" wide by 8 1/2" deep and 12 1/2" high. Good all original finish, trim work shows some wear in the right hand corner is the only imperfection to note. Circa 1900's. - $175.
