Elizabeth dolls were released at the time of the Coronation of King George VI
(the father of Princess Elizabeth). This is an authentic all original 16 1/2”
composition Madame Alexander Princess Elizabeth doll. The doll is complete
including the original shoes, socks, purse, princess crown, original dress and
underclothes. Complete with original
wig, and original label on her clothes that reads, ‘‘Princess Elizabeth’
– Madame Alexander, N.Y. – All rights reserved’. This doll is all original
with some crazing on the composition and the open and close eyes are complete
and in working order with some wear to the pupil of the eyes. Nice detail work
on this doll, and you’ll want to notice the teeth in the doll’s mouth.
This doll was given as a present to Millicent Miller Sacio by her parents
when she was a young girl of approximately 10 years of age. This was
Millicent’s last doll that she was given as a child.
