W173B  Oak Silverware Chest with Drawer

This is nice all original finish and satin lined interior silverware box. The box is made with quarter sawn oak wood. The top is hinged to lift up and there is a second pull out drawer with fitted slots to store your silverware. Note the nice metal finger hole pulls to open the drawer, and they match the color tone of the key hole cover. This box is in excellent all original condition, and what a nice way to store your fine silver flatware collection. The storage box measures 17 1/2" x 11" deep and is 6 1/2" high at the highest center point. At one time there would have been a metal plate on the very top of this box, it is no longer there and someone has plugged the small nail holes, so they are not that noticeable. It appears that this box was made to hold a 12 piece place setting along with all the serving pieces of silverware. - SOLD
