Majolica Charger
This piece was purchased in Virginia. This charger measures 15 1/2"
diameter. Annette purchased this from an Antique
Dealer whom had purchased it out of a local estate it had been stored in the
attic of the local home. Annette and John have kept this on a wall in their
home for the last 10 years. She was never able to date and identify the mark.

We have received the following information regarding our Majolica Charger:
The charger was made by the small factory "SIFMA". This factory was
estabilished in 1896 in Sesto Fiorentino, a small town close to Florence. The
art-nouveau production lasted from 1898 up to 1903, a very short period. In 1906
this factory changed name in Fantechi, the name of the purchaser.
Thank you Nicola for passing this information to us.
