G146 MAJOLICA PITCHER 

- This is an attractive 8" high majolica bamboo decorated pitcher. The diameter on the bottom is 6 1/2" in diameter, and on the top it is 5" diameter. All original, no repairs, no cracks, and no chips. On the bottom of the pitcher there is what looks like little crows feet cracks, but they are not, because they do not go through and you can not see anything on the inside of the pitcher, the marks are just in the glazing, they are not a crack. There is some crazing in the glaze of this pitcher. I like to mention all the details of an item as I want to represent it well. Also, note on the bottom of this pitcher is what appears to be the number 20 that is in a triangle shaped unglazed shape. This is a great piece of early Victorian majolica.
