This is probably the most desirable dining mission oak table made by Limbert #423. This table is 54" diameter and 4 original leaves. Note the thick top 1 3/4". The table is round with an octagonal apron and center post with four legs having full length corbels at sides. This is made of solid quarter oak. The original middle leg was missing when we purchased the table however we correctly replaced the middle leg with a hexagon shaped leg the same shape and design as this table would have originally had. The Limbert buffet is signed as well and was made by the Limbert Furniture Company #459 1/4. This sideboard measures 54" wide, 21" Depth and is 43 1/2" Height. Note the thick top. The plate rack backboard has been replaced on this Limbert piece as it was missing when we purchased the buffet. The plate rack has been designed the same as the original one that would have been on this piece. The set of six Mission Oak Chairs were also made by Limbert Furniture Company, and are signed. These quarter oak chairs are a larger size measuring 37 1/2" Height, seat 19" wide, 18" Depth and 18" from the floor to the seat. This set is ready to be used and enjoyed in your home. Circa 1910. The four leaves measure 10 3/4" wide each. - Price $17,500. |
