(click on pictures to get better view then click on back button to return) D382 Tee Wee Hand Puppet DollThis is a great find! This is a hand puppet doll, that you put your hand in up through the pillow on the back side. And what is so great is to still have the original box that this babe came in. The bisque head is that of an Armand Marseille dream baby. 1927. The doll has celluloid hands. This doll can be found in the 9th book of Pat Smith's Doll Book Series. The box has lots of writing on it. Some of the words are, 'No. 701, TEE-WEE HAND BABE THE LIVING DOLL, Patented Dec. 6, 1927, No. 1,651,738. Design Patent and other Patents Pending. Canadian Patents Pending. An S. & H. Product Manufactured by S. & H. Novelty Co. Atlantic City, N.J. Directions to play with Tee-Wee The Living Doll PUT RIGHT HAND BETWEEN PILLOW AND SLIP. Use Thumb for Left hand of Doll. Use First Finger for Head of Doll. Use Second Finger for Right Hand of Doll. Use Last Two Fingers to Squeeze Voice. The box measures 11" x 7 1/2". The condition of the box is fair, what is great is that you can still read all the words nicely. The condition of the doll it's self is great, the only imperfection is that the doll does not have it's squeaker to work the voice any more and the material which is all the original material is beginning to fray in some places mainly around the doll's hands. Besides, the doll and the original box there is also a photograph of a small child, this has been kept with the doll, because the original owner thought that the photograph looked just like the hand puppet doll. This is a great find, I have tried to describe it well, but please write us with any questions that you might have. You can't help but look at this doll and want to slide your hand up inside her and bring her to life! Guaranteed old and authentic. - SOLD
