D003A Winkie & Blinkie Sleeping Paper Dolls - 

This is a never used and uncut set of paper dolls. This Sleeping Dolls was published by 'Whitman Publishing Co. - Copyright 1945 - #977. ' The blinking eye are in a plastic covered envelope and the instructions read; 'Punch out Winkie's eyes. Take a pair of eyes from the envelope, fold on the dotted line and paste together. Holding the pair of eyes with the closed lids toward you, lashes down, pinch the portion back of the eyes slightly so the eyes will slip easily through the eye sockets. Eyes will then be held firmly in the sockets but can be made to open and close by moving the paper behind the head up and down. By Queen Holden' . The book measures 9 3/4" x 14 3/4" Winkie measures 13 1/2" high and Blinkie measures 10". On the top right hand corner of the book there is discoloring of the paper like a water spot. This is a small imperfection for the excellent condition of this unused book of paper dolls. Six pages of outfits. - $155.
